Eat the Rich review

One of the scariest heroes in fiction. Superb rendering of MI5. I've got two Scottish castles.

The Ice Pirates review

Critically under-rated. Plenty of fun. One of the best films about robots. Anjelica Huston looks superb.

Death Machine review

One of the great performances by Brad Dourif. Thoroughly enjoyable slice of black comedy that has come completely true these days.

Something rather special. An opportunity to watch Maggie Cheung dressed as Catwoman.

Ghost Story review

Posted : 12 years, 7 months ago on 15 October 2011 10:57 (A review of Ghost Story)

Only a fraction of the novel, but still quite a film. It's not that the film is so scary, but that the ghost is so alluring. This film has the big boss from Rollerball.

Audition review

Posted : 12 years, 7 months ago on 15 October 2011 07:00 (A review of Audition)

Ha! Ha! It makes me laugh just thinking about it. Very slow paced gentle comedy at the beginning. The jarring notes are well introduced. Introduction to Japanese women.

Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! review

Posted : 12 years, 7 months ago on 15 October 2011 06:41 (A review of Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!)

The only thing wrong with this film is the ending which is not credible. This is the only decent film the director made.
